What is the process like?
After you fill out the the commission form, I will reach out to you and let you know it has been accepted. We will discuss specifics and after approval I will send you a Paypal invoice for payment.Once your turn in queue comes, you will be sent a rough sketch based on the commission form info.
I can make larger changes in this stage free of cost. After rough sketch approval, I will send you a refined sketch with clearer details and fixed anatomy. I can make smaller changes here such as clothing and small features.I line the sketch and flat color is added. I will make no changes after this point besides color corrections. The background is painted in, the characters are shaded/rendered, and color corrections are applied. I polish over the piece and hand it off to you!
FAQ
How long do commissions take
Typically, a commission will take 2 - 6 weeks. This does not include waiting time in the queue.
Will you draw things not on your list?
I am open to new ideas, message or email me with specifics.
Canvas specifics?
All of my work is done at 300dpi and suitable for printing. Each canvas is at least 3500px on one side.
Do you have favored subjects?
I am most passionate working with high fantasy, D&D, dragons, knights/armor, big cats, medieval, horses, monsters and blood.
Photobashing?
For full disclosure, in my background work I often use “photobashing” elements from the paid hi-res stock image website Istock, photos I have taken, and poses referenced from both real life and movie stills. If you would rather have a completely hand drawn background, let me know and we can discuss a more accurate quote.
